Do you like beer?
According to analysts, the beer industry was relatively flat in June 2009 compared to a gain of 0.7% in June 2008. This is a different trend from the rest of the year, as of now – the beer industry volumes are up 3.1% year-to-date. Winners include MillerCoors and micro/craft brewers while Anheuser Busch InBev (“ABI”) and imports were on the losing side. ABI’s volume fell ~0.9%.
